About me

Backend-oriented Full Stack Developer: Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Angular and microservices. Currently at Viewnext, developing for Banco Santander.

I have spent over 2 years building applications and over 1 delivering features end to end: API design with OpenAPI (API-first), development, e2e testing, code quality and deployment to production in high-availability banking environments, working with agile methodologies.

My technical foundation: backend with Java and Spring Boot (MVC, Security, Data, Batch), microservices and REST APIs with hexagonal architecture, DDD and TDD; messaging and events with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ and WebSockets; frontend with TypeScript and Angular (versions 15 to 20 in production), RxJS, Signals, Angular Material, NgRx and testing with Vitest.

I am open to opportunities as a Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer or Frontend Developer, working remotely from Spain.

  • Full stack development for Banco Santander: high-availability internal banking applications with Java and Angular.
  • Backend: microservices with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot (REST, Spring Batch, Kafka, RabbitMQ), OpenAPI-based APIs and API governance.
  • Orchestrator microservice that receives a single JSON, fans it out to the target services and connects dynamically to multiple databases with credentials in Vault.
  • Data: PostgreSQL (schema design, CRUD and SQL scripts automated with GitHub Actions), Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server; bulk loads with Spring Batch and SFTP.
  • Frontend: Angular 15 to 20 and TypeScript, including a full application migration.
  • Quality: JUnit, Mockito, Vitest (migrated from Karma), Cilantrum e2e, JMeter, SonarQube, Fortify and Trivy.
  • Deployment: Docker, Harbor, OpenShift, ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
